Visualize Song

Usseewa - Song by Ado

For this project, we have to pick a song and visualize it with 3 sets of different ideas, whether it is from its lyrics or the beat.

The song I picked is Usseewa, a song by Japanese singer Ado, the song is about escaping the norm and being yourself

For the first set, I want to use something that is related to the song as a background, so I figure to use the sound wave of the song as a base and create boxes that follows the patterns and then based on what the character is, and change the boxes into objects

For the second set, I use the lyrics to think of different objects to create different scenes. The reason I use futuristic, utopia type of cities as the background is because I want to create the contrast of this vehicle escaping these cities for what they believe in.

For the third set, I used wine and ink as media to print the watermark on the paper. These messy patterns create the kind of chaos that is kind of close to what the beat of this song sounds like.
